Decorating Your Swimming Pool for Christmas!
Christmas is almost here and after the year we’ve had, millions of people are chomping at the bit to celebrate with a small gathering of family and friends. If you’re a swimming pool owner, this gives you the perfect venue to celebrate the holiday and relax with your loved ones.
If you want to celebrate the holiday the right way, then you’ll want to pick up a few Christmas pool decorations. Some of these can even be used as swimming pool gifts for people on your list so that their own pool party is as impressive as yours.
Adding Christmas string lights to any location will automatically make it look more festive. The great thing about string lights is that they can be placed just about anywhere. You can hang them from the patio, drape them over bushes, wrap them around trees, or even set them on top of objects in certain locations. Red and green are the most traditional colors, of course, but any color will suffice.
If you’re like millions of people around the world, your home probably has some type of Christmas tree inside, whether it’s a real one or fake. Either way, you understand that it adds to the decor of the holiday. So, why not take that décor outside by adding a Christmas tree to your swimming pool area? You can either decorate it the same as you would the tree inside or add a more aquatic theme to the Christmas pool decorations.
When we say greenery, we don’t mean to plant more trees and a bunch of bushes around your swimming pool. We’re referring to greenery options such as holy branches and trimmed Christmas tree branches that you can use as decoration. You can even mix some string lights with the greenery or line the edge of the pool with it to be even more festive.
If you really want your Christmas swimming pool party to stand out, then pick up a few inflatables. There are a wide variety to choose from, such as Santa, Christmas trees, wreaths, candy canes, reindeer, and ornaments. You can also pick up floating lounge chairs that are Christmas-themed and inner tubes that are decorated like wreaths. Any of these will add to the décor of your party.
What is it about adding some lights to a party that really seem to liven up the festivities? If you want decorations that will stand out in the water and you already have some inflatables, consider picking up some floating balls that light up. During the Christmas season, these are a nice substitute for ornaments. And in the off-season, you can use them for decorations at any future swimming pool party.
